Frequently Asked Questions

When did you start painting?

I found myself at a crossroads in 2017 and a chance comment from my husband reminded me that I’d always said I’d like to take up painting. This led me to buy some brushes and start exploring the different art materials and techniques to discover the ones that resonated with me.

Since then, I have never looked back! I now miss painting if I don’t do it or I’m not out and about finding things that inspire me. Art is now part of my daily life in one way or another whether creating or thinking about creating.

What inspires you?

My inspiration comes from the world around me. I love to tell stories alongside my paintings and the last step of the process; choosing a title for it that resonates with me, either as the reason I was inspired to paint the subject or something I felt when I was creating the painting.

How did you find your style and technique?

I love bright colours so explored combining them right from the start with the transparency of watercolour. I also love texture and marks. Over the past few years, I’ve enjoyed exploring various art materials and different ways to incorporate these into my paintings.

What is your return policy?

Because I create original art, no returns are accepted. All instalment payments are non-refundable. If, in the very rare case that something arrives damaged, please contact me to resolve.

Contact me via this website, social media messaging, or a phone call. We will discuss your ideas.

During the process, I will send updates so I can ensure that you will be happy with the outcome.
